20+ yrs
International practice across Europe, the Middle East & North America.
Over 20 years of experience. Designing what comes next.
Founded and led by Basel Almisshal, Studio Basel is a USA-based multidisciplinary architecture and creative design studio serving clients across the United States, the Middle East and internationally. We connect architecture and urban design, interiors, museum and exhibition design, branding, photography and media, grounded in the belief that exceptional design can transform space, move people and improve daily life.
Our approach combines creative thinking, emerging technology and AI-assisted concept development and visualization. Human judgment, cultural understanding and your project’s goals guide the process.
We put people and the environment at the center of every project, paying close attention to light, air, materiality, nature, and accessibility. We stay involved from the first concept to the finished building, so the idea that begins a project is the one that gets built: designs made to sit well in their surroundings, serve their communities, and tread lightly. Sustainable by intent, efficient by design.
We have no box to think out of.™
Founded and led by Basel Almisshal, Founding Principal & Creative Director.
