Sultanate of OmanThe Palm Farm Residence
❋ 1,346 m²/ 14,488 ft² Total built area❋ 2 Floors, 8 Bedrooms
Set within a private palm farm estate in the Sultanate of Oman, this eight-bedroom residence was conceived as a composition in dialogue — between the land it inhabits and the family it shelters, between the formal language of Gulf Islamic architecture and the restraint of contemporary form.
The villa rises as a series of white stucco volumes shaped by the rhythm of the surrounding grove, stepping back to let the palms remain the defining presence of the estate.
Planned around the way the family lives, the residence is organized with a generous central living room as its social heart, flanked by a bedroom wing and a secluded master suite with its own stair and private threshold. Guests arrive through a sequence of arched portals inspired by classical Omani domestic architecture before the house opens into a layered interior world above.
Climate response is integrated into the architecture through deep sill reveals, roof overhangs, clerestory glazing, and a top-lit atrium that brings soft daylight and natural ventilation into the core of the home. A restrained palette of white mineral render, natural stone, and timber gives the residence a timeless character rooted in place.
