About Studio Basel Museum Consultants

Collections become stories.
Spaces become experiences.

From the first curatorial idea to opening night, Studio Basel plans, designs, and delivers museum galleries, permanent and travelling exhibitions, and interpretive environments where narrative, space, light, graphics, and media work as one.

We connect museum strategy with the practical work of making it real. Curators, designers, content specialists, and technical teams share a clear direction, so the institution’s purpose carries through every gallery, object, label, and interaction.

Working With Us

We create compelling cultural experiences that are thoughtful, inclusive, visually engaging, and grounded in authentic storytelling.

Can you guide a project from concept to opening?

Absolutely. Studio Basel provides end-to-end project leadership, guiding clients from vision and concept through planning and curation, design, content development, media and graphic design, fabrication, installation, and final opening—while keeping quality, budgets, timelines, and communication on track.

Can we commission a focused part of the work?

Yes. Your project can address a particular need, such as a feasibility study, gallery renewal, interpretive content, visual identity, or collections photography. The work is coordinated with your existing team and the wider visitor experience.

How do you work with curators and institutional teams?

At Studio Basel we work collaboratively and as an extension of your team, respecting the expertise and vision of curators, leadership, and subject-matter specialists while bringing our own expertise in museum strategy, design, interpretation, and visitor experience. Through clear communication, shared milestones, and an organized project process, we translate institutional goals and curatorial ideas into compelling, cohesive experiences—without losing the integrity of the story.

Do you develop multilingual interpretation?

Our content and graphic design scope includes bilingual English-Spanish, English-French and English-Arabic development, typography, and calligraphy, with clear and accessible reading levels for different audiences.

What should we share to start a conversation?

We would love to hear from you. Please share your institution or project, location, collection or subject, audience, available space, target opening date, and any established budget or brief. Thank you.
